About
United for Peace Kenya is a non-governmental peace foundation established in 2023 with a mission to foster trust, mutual respect, and constructive engagement between communities and law enforcement across Kenya.
Our vision is a peaceful society where public safety and justice are upheld through collaboration, dialogue, and shared responsibility. Founded in response to growing concerns about social unrest, mistrust in institutions, and rising cases of both traditional and digital crime, United for Peace Kenya seeks to bridge the gap between citizens and security agencies through awareness, advocacy, and education.
What we do
Community Engagement for Peace
We bring people together through local forums, workshops, and outreach programs that encourage dialogue between citizens, youth, and law enforcement. These efforts build trust, reduce tensions, and foster shared responsibility for peace.
Digital Awareness and Crime Prevention
We use blogs, campaigns, and social media to educate the public especially young people on issues like cybercrime, misinformation, and online safety. Our goal is to equip communities with tools to prevent harm in both physical and digital spaces.
Promoting Accountable Policing
We advocate for a more transparent and human centered approach to policing by supporting community policing efforts and encouraging constructive feedback between officers and the communities they serve.
